ICC Belfast shortlisted at 2022 Conference and Events Awards
ICC Belfast takes home Bronze in the best Conference Venue
Following a superb virtual edition of the Conference and Events Awards in 2020 which saw ICC Belfast take home Bronze in the Best Conference Venue over 1100 theatre style category, the convention centre has once again been shortlisted for this accolade, as well as the Venue Sustainability Award.
These awards, hailed as the pinnacle of event industry recognition, are an eagerly awaited early summer fixture in the calendar for event professionals throughout the UK and beyond. With categories spanning conference and event development, customer service and sustainability, the July awards ceremony will be a celebration of best practice and innovation within the industry.
ICC Belfast’s success is wholly predicated on its people and its eight organisational values underpin the vision which is to create a world-class stage where people make great things happen. Environment is one of these core values and the entire team is cognisant that as custodians of these iconic venues, protecting the environment is crucial.
Julia Corkey, ICC Belfast | Waterfront Hall | Ulster Hall Chief Executive commented on the award win saying,
“We are delighted to be shortlisted in two categories in the Conference and Events Awards, a highlight of our annual awards calendar.
Our team is constantly looking for innovative and unique ways to add value for our clients.
"As the first island of Ireland venue to receive Silver Green Meetings accreditation, sustainability and food sustainability in particular is paramount to this, and it is fantastic that our efforts have received such prestigious recognition among our peers.”
