Watches that tell more than time.
At Nomadic, every timepiece is a story - crafted to celebrate life’s defining moments.
Van Morrison’s 80th birthday is one such moment - a milestone to be remembered for years to come. To mark the occasion, we created 80 limited-edition watches, each a tribute to his enduring legacy.
The Roman numerals on the dial were inspired by the font from his 2025 album Remembering Now - a subtle yet meaningful detail. Roman numerals have been a hallmark of watchmaking for centuries, symbolising enduring artistry and reflecting Van Morrison’s status as a timeless icon whose music transcends generations, much like the numerals themselves have transcended time in culture and design.
Meticulously designed and custom-crafted, these watches embody both his artistry and the spirit of continual progress that defines Nomadic. Our custom projects are more than branded pieces - they are timekeepers that can be worn, shared, and passed on.
Inspired by the people who wear our watches and the stories they carry, we see life as a collection of moments - measured in hours and minutes, but remembered forever.
Looking back often. Moving forward always.
Make Progress.

The Van Morrison Official Belfast Rhythm and Blues Foundation
In 2016 this was registered as a charity to promote musical heritage and support musicians suffering financial hardship.
From this charity, has come the establishment of The Sir Van Morrison Music Scholarships, a collaboration between Queen’s University Belfast and Van Morrison who has been named Artist in Residence by Queen’s University Belfast.
Designed to support widening access to Music through higher education and inspire the next generation through mentorship and opportunity, the scholarships will be awarded in September 2025 to two Northern Ireland residents registered on a full-time BMus or BA programme in Music in the School of Arts, English and Languages at Queen’s University Belfast. Through this foundation, we are preserving cultural heritage, fostering artistic talent and ensuring that live music remains a living, breathing force for connection, education and inspiration.
