Alex Wilkinson

After graduating with a 2:1 in BSc Hons Communication, Advertising, and Marketing from Ulster University, Alex joined ICC Belfast in August 2024 as a Marketing and Communications Executive.

In her role, Alex is responsible for driving effective communication strategies and marketing campaigns that support the success of both ICC Belfast’s corporate events as well internal team communications. She works closely with various departments to ensure seamless promotion and engagement from concept development through to post-event analysis, helping to elevate the ICC Belfast brand.

Before joining the business, Alex gained valuable experience during her placement year at Invest NI, working in the Campaigns and Digital Solutions division on the PR and Media Relations team. She developed expertise in key areas such as working on the PR for UK Government Ministers during international visit programmes, planning social media content, stakeholder communication, monitoring media coverage, and conducting PR impact analysis.

Hardworking, conscientious, and enthusiastic, Alex effectively manages multiple priorities with a positive attitude. A naturally social and approachable individual, she thrives in ICC Belfast’s collaborative environment.
