Hama Davidson (O'Reilly)
Event Manager
Hama, born in South Africa, is a Queen’s University graduate with a first-class honours degree in Management and Business Studies. She moved to Northern Ireland in 1995. Prior to this, she attended Hotel Management and Catering School in South Africa, gaining international experience in the hotel catering and conference industry.
Hama has been with BWUH Ltd. since 2001 and was a member of the original Waterfront Hall venue team. She has been an integral part of the venue’s journey as it expanded to encompass ICC Belfast, Waterfront Hall, and Ulster Hall.
In 2018, Hama became an Event Manager, specializing in logistics planning and event delivery at ICC Belfast. With a keen eye for detail and a level head under pressure, Hama ensures that all her events exceed client expectations, always putting the customer first.
Since becoming an Event Manager, Hama has delivered a wide array of high-profile events at ICC Belfast, including the Coca-Cola HBC Evolve Conference and the TATA Motors Annual Distributor Conference. Hama's expertise and dedication make her capable of handling any event with excellence.
Choosing Belfast made the delivery of the event so much easier because all the city partners work so closely together – from Caitriona in Grand Central Hotel to Pete at Hospitality Belfast and Hama at ICC Belfast – everyone understood the importance of making this event not just authentic but extra special.
