Outsourced Events (OE) successfully organised and hosted a dynamic, hybrid two-day event at ICC Belfast, showcasing live-streamed surgeries and cutting-edge technology exhibitions.
Leading up to the event, OE facilitated eight masterclasses and hands-on training sessions. Key objectives included ensuring profitability, attracting a larger attendance of healthcare professionals, broadening inclusivity and participation opportunities, enhancing engagement for attendees and sponsors, and delivering enriching, education-focused experiences that encouraged peer interaction. OE provided full end-to-end management, covering speaker and logistics coordination, surgery live-streaming, virtual platform setup, onsite registration, branding, data management, abstract handling, and exhibitor support.
Advancing Women's Health
BSGE’s second annual conference was a hybrid event, with the live event taking place in Northern Ireland's only purpose-built convention centre, ICC Belfast. Following the success of the first ASM delivered in Manchester 2023, OE strived to organise and manage a successful event that not only captivated and involved attendees but also increased inclusivity by offering more opportunities for members to engage and participate.
As event co-ordinators OE organised and managed the scientific and social programmes for the attendees, which consisted of;
- An opening ceremony
- Evening welcome reception with entertainment at Titanic Belfast
- Hosting the finish of an annual Endometriosis UK charity cycle ride
- Cutting-edge technology and equipment exhibition, training sessions, presentations, interactive discussions and Q&As
- Live-streamed surgery
- Four social events and a gala dinner and awards ceremony
The 2024 event saw significant increases from 2023:
There were 159 more attendees taking the total to 816 (up 24%), 8 more speakers, 4 more sponsors and exhibitors, 52 added sessions as well as an extra 3 pre-ASM workshops.
Both the welcome reception and gala dinner had an increase of attendees also. To date 407 delegates have provided feedback, with 95% definitely/most likely recommending the conference to a colleague:
It’s one of the best organised congress I've been to (and I have been at many), everything was smooth and without any problems.
