Callow Events unveils Destination Management Division to propel Northern Ireland as a must-visit destination for global business events

A leader in Northern Ireland’s corporate and private events industry for over 15 years, Callow Events has recently launched a new Destination Management division, making Callow Events Northern Ireland’s premier dedicated Destination Management Company (DMC). Through this division, Callow Events aims to grow Northern Ireland’s business tourism sector by fostering the growing number of delegates visiting Northern Ireland seeking unique, inspiring and authentic experiences and elevating Northern Ireland as an outstanding destination for corporate visitors on a global stage.

Callow Events’ strategic expansion aligns with the Northern Ireland Executive’s recently published 10-year Tourism Vision & Action Plan and aims to ensure group experiences of the province expand beyond the average tourism visit, offering bespoke excursions, inspiring events, and unique opportunities for access to authentic ‘hidden gems’.

Key actions outlined in the plan include expanding the visitor experience portfolio, developing a long-term program of events, and enhancing international connectivity. Callow Events’ Destination Management division is poised to play a pivotal role in achieving these objectives by:

• Expanding Visitor Experiences: By curating unique and immersive itineraries, the division will introduce visitors to lesser-known attractions, thereby dispersing tourist traffic and promoting regional balance.
• Developing Events: Leveraging its expertise in event management, the company will contribute to a robust calendar of events that attract diverse audiences year-round.

The development marks a significant milestone in the company's evolution, reflecting its commitment to contributing to Northern Ireland's burgeoning tourism industry. Callow’s newly-formed Destination Management division will offer a suite of services tailored to both domestic and international visitors including: customised itineraries which showcase Northern Ireland’s rich cultural heritage, landscapes and communities; event planning and execution including conferences, corporate retreats and special events; and logistical support to provide seamless transportation and accommodation arrangements and on-the-ground support for a seamless and memorable visitor experience.
