Future You ‘On The Road’ event at ICC Belfast

The Future You Foundation are delighted to partner with Belfast Metropolitan College to host the second Future You ‘On The Road’ event in Northern Ireland.

Claire Steiner, Co-Founder, Institute of Travel and Tourism Future You, will be joined once again by Eimear Callaghan, Head of Programmes at Tourism Northern Ireland in speaking alongside industry leaders Lee Ainsworth, Head of Operations, The Advantage Travel Partnership, TTG 30 under 30, Dave Young, Head of Production at ICC Belfast, who has recently secured a place on the 50 Most Influential Event Technology Professionals list, and the 50 Most Influential People in the Events Industry in the UK list through Eventex and Rory King, Irish Independents Top Travel Influencer 2023.

In addition to the industry speaker sessions, a panel session will hear from recent graduates working in the Northern Ireland travel and tourism sector, to include Andrea Succi NI Travel News Student of the Year and Daniel Warke, Degree Apprentice of the Year finalist at the Northern Ireland Apprentice Awards. An interactive careers expo will be held, with local travel and tourism businesses providing insight to a wealth of travel and tourism career opportunities.

Cate Murdock, Lecturer in Travel, Tourism & Events Management at Belfast Metropolitan College added 

"It is once again a privilege to be leading Belfast Met Event Management students in bringing ITT Future You on the Road back to Belfast for a second year. After the success of our first event, we are delighted that this year with the support of Charlie McCloskey and his team at ICC Belfast the event will be open to even more students from schools and colleges across N. Ireland. Students will learn first-hand all that is on offer when choosing a career path in Travel, Tourism and Events."

The interest and support from industry has again been exceptional and therefore we are delighted to offer expanded exhibitor space at ICC Belfast this year.

In recent months, ICC Belfast has delivered large-scale events for global and local organisations including One Young World, the NI Investment Summit, and CYBERUK. ICC Belfast provides a space for visitors from all over the world to come together and share ideas that could leave a positive legacy on their industries.
