ICC Belfast to welcome Harkin Summit 2022

We're excited to welcome the 2022 Harkin International Disability Employment Summit to ICC Belfast on 7-8 June 2022.

The two-day event, hosted in partnership with The Harkin Institute and Northern Ireland’s Department for Communities, will welcome delegates in-person and virtually to positively reframe the narrative on approaching, supporting and enabling persons with disabilities to achieve their career goals and aspirations.

Developed in 2016 by Senator Tom Harkin, the Harkin Summit is internationally recognised as a platform that brings together leaders and activists across Business, Government, Philanthropy, the Third and Voluntary Sector, and Academia to highlight and address disability employment issues, showcase best practice and success, build relationships and challenge for change.

The theme of this years’ event is ‘Disability: Shaping, Growing and Driving Economic Change’, placing an emphasis on content quality and diversity. Global leaders and activists have been invited to develop and submit papers to deliver as part of this exciting event, resulting in an impressive two-day programme with a number of internationally renowned keynote speakers and content from over 40 presenters.
