Seasonal, fresh and sustainable dishes
Our catering partners aim is to deliver exceptional dishes inspired by the world-class, local produce in the fields around our venue. Creating fresh, seasonal dishes may sound simplistic - but for them it’s all about delivering for our clients and fulfilling the goal of serving real, honest and sustainable food.
Cooking in their own kitchen from scratch negates the need for heavily processed, chemically enhanced food designed by accountants. This approach benefits the entire business, as well as the people in it.
ISO 20121 accredited venue
ISO 20121 is an internationally recognised standard for the events industry which aims to improve the sustainability of event-related activities, products and services. ICC Belfast is the only venue in Northern Ireland to have achieved the accreditation, and is one of only a small number of accredited venues across Ireland.
ICC Belfast’s hospitality partners place a strong focus on using local produce and have taken their commitment to “farm to fork” traceability right down to sourcing organic mushrooms grown in home-made compost. Their drive for food tracing, low food miles and sustainability goes as deep as the soil the local produce is grown in.

Our catering partners believes that a number of solutions to current sustainability conundrums lie in the past. Their first tactic, when faced with a non-sustainable process, is to challenge themselves to explore how it was done 50 years ago. Sustainability is one of ICC Belfast and its partners’ core company values and is part of our everyday operations. Our catering partners goal is to be a positive influence and contributor to the ecosystem that we, our families and our communities live in.
Each supplier is carefully considered by ICC Belfast's catering partners to ensure every delegate experiences an authentic taste of Northern Ireland when they visit ICC Belfast.
Supplier focus
Over 100 years of family business and great coffee. We are very proud to have developed a bespoke coffee blend with the team at Johnsons for use at ICC Belfast.
One of Northern Ireland’s best suppliers for fresh farm milk and ice creams. Rest assured that every drop of their milk is from a cow they know receives the best care and quality feed.
With their team of master butchers, they source their meats from small farmers and cut every order to specifications. Whether it’s the best Northern Irish beef, Mourne lamb or local chicken.
Northern Ireland has some of the finest fish and seafood in the world, and no one provides better quality than Ewing’s, whose smoked fish is rated one of the best in Ireland.
As true artisan bakers, Yellow Door produce all of their own bread from top-quality untreated, unbleached flour, natural fats and oils, free-range eggs, Irish milk, and buttermilk.

Our allergen policy
We are committed to reducing the risk to all customers regarding our catering partners products, the provision of food and the consumption of allergens which could lead to any allergic reactions. We have trained FSA Allergen Champions on site. We do our best to ensure that any food provided for visitors with food allergies, intolerances and coeliac disease is appropriate for their needs. However please note the following important information:

Therefore, ICC Belfast's catering partners are not in a position to guarantee a complete allergen-free environment, rather to minimise the risk of exposure, encourage self-responsibility, and plan for effective responses to possible emergencies
Our Ethnic Range
We live in a diverse culture of changing taste which is reflected in our Ethnic menu. Our extensive ethnic range includes delicious foods to suit a range of dietary needs. We work hard to ensure our meals are as culturally identifiable as they are tasty.
Our in-house catering partners provide delicious Halal and Kosher meals with meat sourced from certified suppliers, Mitchell Catering and Carnbrooke Meats.
