Visit Belfast manages the application process for financial support (also known as subvention) on behalf of Tourism Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council. This conference support scheme provides event organisers with a financial package to make events at ICC Belfast, or any of our city’s other venues, as successful as possible.
Bringing your conference to our city
We want to put your conference and Belfast on a world stage and give your delegates the best experience possible. To help event organisers do this, Northern Ireland offers a conference support scheme of £50 for each out-of-state delegate, with awards ranging from £5,000 and £100,000.
The subvention scheme has been designed with flexibility in mind in order to support as many conference organisers as possible. For more information or to find out if your event qualifies, head over to Visit Belfast’s website.
Northern Ireland Association support scheme
This scheme is open to not-for-profit associations that are welcoming a minimum of 100 out-of-state delegates to Northern Ireland for at least one night. Examples of eligible costs include venue costs and pre-conference marketing costs.
