Joel is an Event Manager at ICC Belfast. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Leisure and Events Management from Ulster University, Coleraine, where he developed a strong foundation in event planning, venue operations, and the visitor economy.
Joel's career has been built on a solid hospitality background, gaining extensive experience across customer service, operations, and venue management. Throughout his career, he progressed through several roles that combined both event management and bar management, allowing him to develop a well-rounded understanding of delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing complex operational requirements.
In March 2026, Joel achieved his long-term career ambition by securing the role of Event Manager at ICC Belfast. In this role, he works closely with clients, suppliers, and venue teams to deliver a diverse range of conferences, business and live entertainment events, ensuring every event is executed to the highest standard.
Passionate about creating memorable experiences and building strong client relationships, Joel combines his hospitality expertise with his event management knowledge to deliver seamless, successful events from concept through to completion.
