
ICC Belfast Achieves Gold AIPC Quality Standards Certification
Achieving AIPC Gold Quality Standards recognition

ICC Belfast has successfully achieved AIPC Quality Standards certification, following a comprehensive audit by the designated external auditor. They now join a select group of over 30 AIPC centres worldwide that have attained and maintained this international benchmark, with others currently in progress.
Developed as an industry-specific certification, the AIPC Quality Standards program is designed to confirm and document a centre’s performance across key management areas. It remains the only certification of its kind tailored to the convention centre industry.
ICC Belfast is to be congratulated on achieving the Gold Level, demonstrating its strong commitment to international standards of excellence in venue management. This achievement sends a clear signal to clients, stakeholders, and team that the centre adheres to globally recognised best practices.
The certification audit covers ten key areas: Customer Service, Quality of Facilities and Operations, Employee Relations, Health, Safety, Security and Emergency Response, Financial Integrity, Community Relations, Environmental Responsibility, Industry Relations, and Supplier Relations. Centres that complete the audit consistently report that the process both validates their efforts and reveals opportunities for continuous improvement.
The external auditor, Mr. Rick Knowlan, President of Knowlan Consulting Group Inc., highlighted the exceptional clarity and quality of Belfast’s submission:
Belfast’s documentation was logical, well organised, and comprehensive.
