As the Head of Venue and Event Safety at ICC Belfast, Waterfront, and Ulster Hall, Stephen plays a pivotal role in driving the safety strategy for our business across both venue and event operations. Stephen is committed to building our resilience and enhancing emergency preparedness, ensuring our venues remain a safe and secure environment for all staff, patrons, contractors, and clients.

Stephen brings a wealth of experience to his role, having started his career in the security industry before transitioning to regional management, where he held key roles throughout the UK and Ireland focusing on risk management including safety and security.

Stephen works closely with our teams across various departments to ensure that our safety strategy and standards are consistently delivered across our operations. He works with our facilities management team who maintain the integrity and safety of our buildings, with our technical team in the safe operation and maintenance of equipment, staff training and procedures, and with our event management team to support the safe planning and management of events. Stephen has a keen interest in crowd management and his dedication to continuous improvement drives the high safety standards we uphold in all our landmark entertainment venues.
